I always think of my summer at PGSS as a great turning point in my life. Like others who attended PGSS, my love of learning was celebrated by my peers and the faculty. I had never been surrounded by such a group of talented, smart, and driven people before. Thefriends I made at PGSS have always served as a source of motivation that continues to inspire me to this day. I remember vividly that my experience that summer motivated me to push myself in my final year of high school. In medical school, the lessons I learned about teamwork, intellectual curiosity, and persistence have helped me thrive in my current pursuit. There is no doubt in my mind that I will continue to reflect upon Governor’s School to inspire myself to take advantage of any opportunity that comes my way. The program has done wonders for me. I, like many of my peers, am writing to support this program because I believe in its merit. Future generations of Pennsylvania high school students need this program because it can undoubtedly be an inspiration for their dreams and aspirations.
